AirAsia X Berhad (“Us” or “We”) at our absolute discretion, hereby offer our passengers (“You”) air travel privileges in the form of Travel Voucher in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

You will receive a Travel Voucher with a value equivalent to the standards defined in the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards by The Republic of South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT):

• This Terms and Conditions constitute a binding legal agreement between you and AirAsia Group Bhd (“AAGB, us, we, our”). By virtue of you clicking to make payment via the @Checkout on airasia.com, you are deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to the followings:
• Compensation of 10% of the total airfare paid for the affected sector for a delay of more than 2 hours and less than 4 hours;
• Compensation of 20% of the total airfare paid for the affected sector for a delay of more than 4 hours and less than 12 hours;
• Compensation of 30% of the total airfare paid for the affected sector for a delay of more than 12 hours.
• “Total airfare” refers to the base fare and ancillary services, excluding the amount paid for airport taxes and fees, additional insurance, administration fee and other government imposed charges.
• Fly-Thru passengers will be compensated based on the total airfare paid for both connecting flights even if only one flight is affected by the disruption.
• The Travel Voucher will be issued via email and in the form of a unique number (“Redemption Code”) linked to your airasia member account (“Account”). If you have not yet registered as an airasia member, We will prompt you to create an account with the email used for the booking.
• Every passenger on the affected flight will be compensated for the adhoc service disruption:
• For individual bookings, the Travel Voucher will be sent to the email address used to make the booking.
• For bookings with multiple passengers, a Travel Voucher will be created individually for each guest in the booking. The individual vouchers will be sent to the email used to make the booking and linked to the Account of the same email.
• For bookings made through travel agents, guests can request for the Travel Vouchers via our Live Chat Agent on Ask Bo. The Travel Vouchers will not be issued to any travel agents.
• The Travel Voucher is applicable for the base fare and ancillary services of flights operated by Us (airline code: D7). It is NOT applicable for payment of all relevant airport taxes and fees, insurance as well as service fees of our flights.
• The Travel Voucher is exclusively valid for medium-haul flights (over 4 hours) operated by AirAsia X Berhad (flight code: D7). It cannot be used to redeem Fly-Thru flights or any flights operated by our affiliates (airline codes: AK, Z2, QZ, FD, XJ).
• You may use the Travel Voucher to book a flight for yourself or others by logging into your Account on our AirAsia MOVE app or website and entering the Redemption Code at the payment page. As a multi-use voucher, You may utilise the Redemption Code for one or more bookings until the balance is exhausted.
• The Travel Voucher is valid for two (2) years from the date of issuance (“Validity Period”). Any unused balance of the Travel Voucher after the Validity Period shall be deemed surrendered and forfeited.
• The Travel Voucher cannot be sold, exchanged or refunded for cash. Bookings made using the Travel Voucher are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for any other benefits in kind.
• Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the Passenger.
• Any subsequent changes to the destination, flight date or flight time CANNOT be paid with the Travel Voucher.
• We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You in connection with the redemption or usage or inability to use the Travel Voucher.
• We retain the right to substitute the Travel Voucher with another of similar value.
• By utilising the Travel Voucher, You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions as well as the Terms and Conditions of Carriage for
• D7 Flights excluding flights to and from US
• D7 Flights flights to and from US
• We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
